Big Bear Brand

My name is Alex Cadotte and I have built the Big Bear brand which is becoming synonymous with luxury in Revelstoke. Growing up in David QC, I took a chance and moved out west to Whistler in 2004 when a friend of mine was looking for a roommate. At the time I had never been out west and didn't speak any English at the time. I got a job as a night cleaner. I had never ridden much powder before but I was HOOKED. I spent the next 2.5 years snowboarding, mountain biking and skateboard in Whistler.

In the Summer of 2007 I had the opportunity to come to Revelstoke on a roadtrip and enjoyed the small town vibes and big adventure. I went to school to be a caprenter and then moved to Revy for good. I didn't know anyone in Revy, all I knew was that there was a new ski hill and tons of pow.

I started Gutter Done Exteriors in 2008 and in 2014 I started the construction of what is now the Big Bear Chalet, employing some of the awesome local trades people I completed the project in 2015. Since completing this project I've been constantly upgrading it to make a unique space for an unforgettable Revy experience.

I work hard and play hard in Revy, which includes snowboarding and snowmobiling every day in the winter and mountain biking, dirt biking and motorcycling around BC in the summer.

My latest projects include the Big Bear Limousine, offering a luxurious yet funky ride in and around Revelstoke and the Sunset Spa, another luxury rental experience.
